I completely disagree. He's the Mayor, Nathan Phillips Square belongs to Toronto and he serves us. Protesting at his house comes across as harassing his wife and kids and neighbours and will only embolden his supporters and the perception that he's being persecuted.

I have a feeling this is the first of many protests. If the pressure continues to mount the crowds will get bigger and bigger until he can't drive his Fordmobile into the parking garage without being blocked by angry Torontonians demanding he resign. Hey maybe that's all we need to do: close the parking garage for a week. Ford would never walk or take public transit

I'm ever more convinced that this is the man who Cook, Doolittle and Donovan met. He wanted to move out west with the $200K then he went quiet. Maybe he did, payoff or not. Once his photo hits the news, the 3 reporters will be able to identify him. If they do, the police better be sharing what's on his phone or risk appearing to cover up for a corrupt mayor. This is the RCMP though, so I'm sure they'll put the video out if they have it.

They're playing off each other. Regardless, there is no lockdown and City Hall Bureau reporters weren't in any office. They're out walking and talking freely around City Hall.

It doesn't matter, that's not an appropriate place for a protest. Public Squares serve a purpose, not the least of which is a peaceful, organized event such as is happening tomorrow at noon. As of last evening CP24 was still reporting that the "Stand Up For Toronto..." protest was on Sunday at noon, which of course is incorrect.

Remember what he and his entourage said about the many, many deputants during the Core Services Review? That they were just unemployed union-backed leftists who had all the time in the world to protest/complain while his real supporters were hardworking taxpayers with no time for such trivialities?
He willfully ignores these kinds of things and counters with completely unverifiable fuckery like the thousands upon thousands of calls he gets that say 'keep up the good work'. I expect that'll be the response on his radio show Sunday no matter how many people end up at the protest.

Maybe they should have changed it to Sunday. There's going to be thundershowers. Not good for a protest and not good if you want to keep that chalk on the floor as a continuing round the clock protest.
