Kenny Hotz is a comedy genius that knows how to create a stir. He probably saw this and naturally saw instant mischief value.....Notice he found the most convincing 2 second bit and went with it.

The video looked suspicious from the beginning. Didn't take me more than a few seconds to figure that it was fake. This Hotz guy is an idiot. The last thing we need if for Ford nation to have "evidence" that the video was fake.

No. Some comedian made the fake for his show. Equivalent of what Jimmy Fallon did on his show.

And it was an obvious fake too.

As it appears on FB it doesn't start or end frozen, it's only 2-3 seconds of fluid video, hence how I was fooled at first.

Hardly. It was a pathetic attempt at a fake. Should't take anyone more than a few seconds to see that. It also dosen't match the Gawker description.

When the story *starts* with a mayor of a major city potentially smoking street drugs, there's not a heck of a long way to go to reach 'circus' I guess.
