Just because he was elected does not excuse him from answering the people of Toronto, not just those who voted for him but ALL Torontonians. It is the right of all voters to hold those elected to a higher standard, to promote and protect the public trust, and expect answers to any question are asked concerning the running of this city.
The latter includes being of sound mind, with the ability to deal with tasks, big and small, concerning the city. And so, properly working with the rest of Toronto council to complete those tasks is also paramount.
I could list numerous items that can easily be argued; however, a couple I find the most important are:
1) Use of terms such as "communist" to describe Liberals or "lefties", socialists, or just anyone who disagrees with him on a matter.
2) Use of "good facts" to promote events or projects with either no command of the facts or purposely withholding them.

I didn't vote for Ford; however, if the job of mayor is too stressful for him then he should seek help. Hiding, and hiring a layer only avoids the present events and promotes some level of guilt.

CBC reported just now Mammoliti had a $500 a plate fundraiser last night. Independent observers were quoted saying it as extraordinarily unusual and likely unethical for a councillor to raise funds like this.
Ford's office - Rob Ford's office - said they have never heard of a councilor doing something like this and that Giorgio "does not speak for or represent Ford at all."
Thrown under the bus!

Was afraid of that. Hopefully he's just lying low. Now that the 200k is materializing, hard to believe he'd stay away if the video is still secure. Really it should be uploaded to a private file storage account/google drive or whatever.
