Footage released after syringes found tied on City Hall doors

Security staff found the syringes at Nathan Phillips Square on Oct. 25 and Nov. 1, police said Tuesday.

The syringes were found on the front doors of City Hall. Two syringes were attached with blue ribbons each time, police said.

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an ongoing investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Monday, November 9, 2015, Toronto Police were alerted to two suspicious incidents at City Hall

- on Sunday, October 25, 2015, a man tied two capped syringes to the front doors of City Hall with blue rubber ribbons

- on Sunday, November 1, 2015, the same man attempted to tie two capped syringes to a barricade near the front doors of City Hall but fled as security approached

since it's a slow news day, i decided to google romeo di battista. the following is a link to a court case where romeo had to pay over $16,000 to a woman that was fired from his recycling company for being a woman (she had been hired by the blair that work there).
