Seriously, it's great for Rob or anybody in his position with respect to cancer treatment to feel well enough to drive.

But ... Recent chemo! Pain meds! Known addict! Lots of money in the family to pay for chauffeurs or cabs!

I'm not surprised, given that there is no evidence ever that FoFam has even one time given more than 0.001 fucks about public safety. (Feigning concern for political advantage does not count.) But I'm offended and scared.

it's true that he did fake rehab, but you can't fake chemo. i think it is very likely that he is scared straight right now. this is the real deal, life or death, and i think even Rob Ford is going to grasp that concept.
in other words, there is a good chance that Rob Ford is stone cold sober, completely drug and alcohol free, for the first time since he was about, oh, 12.

Just to be clear, the post (quoted by Animatronic, and now deleted because of glaring ambiguity - if that's possible) was referring to the letter received by KWT wherein the author wished the punishing death by horrible illness upon a sitting politician while 'in Office'. The point, such as it is, being that FN rules seem to decree that such wishes upon one politician are A-OK, but if their preferred saviour is the subject of such, sacrilege and abomination deserve RIGHTEOUS HELLFIRE RAINED UPON THEE.

Dogmatics/fundimentalists always seem to have the biggest insecurities. Even the Fords are toning down the messianic messages after the Ford Fester and the gay bashing.

Rob, in his current state? Norm Kelly (in a Doug-ian slip, Doug inadvertently admits that the recent metaphorical invasion of Kuwait ended more favourably for the aggressors than the real invasion did in the 1980's)? Or did Doug reach out to his future self using his awesome powers of clairvoyance?
