Or if pattycakes is right about the doctor's note and he withdraws, my guess is he'll wait til after the deadline to withdraw from the race. Just so the die hards of Ford Nation can still vote for the Worst Mayor Ever.

What kind of dummy has abdominal pains for three months and does nothing until the pain gets to be too much? Especially someone.... in his "condition". Let's face it, he's hardly the picture of health and surely he must recognize that.

Rob's self image is that he's an "athlete" - football tosses, tearing up city hall stairs and ditto subway stairs, running while canvassing. Athletes don't get sick and alcoholics don't go to the doctor because they don't want to hear the truth.
