Forum poll coming out tomorrow was Soknacki's best ever. 6% support. 58% approval, up 10. Name recognition near 80, up from the 60s.

Being a Forum poll, I am concerned that it will give Ford a boost.

I told the Soknacki rep who called me - if Ford wasn't a factor - they'd have my vote. With Ford I was Tory/Chow.

David Sock's luck when it comes to tv coverage was dismal IMO, even in the debates technical mistakes seems to fall on him for some reason. Audio mic troubles, seems to cut out for him a lot on that one debate. One recent one I watched the cameraman seemed to linger on Olivia Chow while it was Socks turn to talk, then slowly panned over to him. Maybe it was a bad combo of slow to warm to vulcan charms, and mainstream media who seems to trip over themselves chasing the circus clown merryl show.

Anyone but Ford, but yeesh is Tory and Chow really the best that TO has to offer. I'll vote for whoever can crush the fofam brand come october, but damn I hope at least Domise makes it to councilor.
 
Soknacki another victim of Ford; had the most reasoned approach (IMHO) yet couldn't get traction in the whole "anyone but Ford" race.

Huh. Heard otherwise (provisional go, but story control and credit was a thorny legal-ish issue), but it's like living in rumour-ville right now. Regardless, hope your meetings yield fruit.

In Forum poll coming out tomorrow, Chow gained most in then-hypothetical 3-way race without Soknacki, but only a minor impact.

So Chow is gaining after this huge slide.

I was the same until recently. I decided, "Effit. I've never voted strategically before, why start now and do an injustice to the democratic process?".

Seriously, just two days ago, I—a guy who's only ever voted Socialist—decided to vote for the seemingly only *progressive* conservative left in Canadian politics because he has a greater grasp of reality and more rational thinking than the other candidates.

And now? I suppose my vote will go to Chow, but she's really gotta turn that ship, or I might just cast a vote to Morgan or Ari, or even a write-in for Andray.

With Soks cerebral margin out of the race it makes RoFo 3rd place. NOBODY would leave Soks or Sarah and go to Ford.
