So how does this sober coach thing work anyway? On the home front, specifically.

I always believed ( from the movies & TV shows) that a sober coach would just be 'on call' if any temptations arose.

This person is being made out to be someone who is with Rob all the time. How is that even possible?

Does he stay with Rob at his home... Or does he drop Rob off at home at night & then pick him up again in the morning? What about while he's at home? Hasn't it been rumored that Renata has her own substance abuse demons that she struggles with?

And that brings me to the next question - has it been established that Rob is even staying at home - with his wife and kids?

The options here are: (1) get out of town until Stampede is over; (2) Eat The Pancakes. That's not quite literally true, but it's damn close.

to recover knowing that a new Mayor will be elected...If RF is still standing at election time what could happen is a
massive turnout by Toronto voters to ensure that RF does not get re-elected by a split vote by multiple weak
candidates...

The worm has turned for sure, I was at CH on Monday, and it was a circus, but the deliberately confrontational presser in the small room with only invited press set the tone for the week, and for the Fords it only went south from there... Whoever thought the invite only presser was a good idea has ultimately done more good for Toronto and harm to the RoFo campaign that they could possibly have imagined.
The mood of the city and level of tolerance for the Ford's and their bullshit turned on that presser, opening up the floodgates for shirtless jogger guy to become a thing.
The little stuff that (nearly) everyone let slide for being small ethics breaches is getting reported to the Integrity Commish left and right.
The end of the Ford era is nigh...

Grifters abound. If you can name a price that might be met, grift for it. But you have to make the long con. Like all these 'therapeutic soul concierges/recovery sherpas*. Feels kind of like the Fords think they're pulling a long con, but these guys, well, they've completely misplaced the 'confidence' part of 'con'. Shaming the craft.

*Unless those things exist, I mighta just made them up. In which case, your certification awaits! For a professional fee, of course.)

Lol, what? Why on earth should she do that? There are no overt signs of depression; she hasn't done anything worse than driving drunk (probably not for the first time) not mixed up in anything worse than maybe shagging a married man (probably not the first time). Why would she kill herself? She's just an overgrown party girl and she'll continue to be one long after Rob is just another story for her to tell to her drinking buddies.
