Hurontario to the Credit River will be open by the fall. Other than finishing off missing sections of barrier walls and the Creek Deck, not much left to be done. Then there are the various sign bridges to be install and clean the plant site area.
I noticed on a Photo I shot Sat that there is to be a transfer lane from the collector lanes to the Express just east of the Credit River.
The area at 407 will be tight to fit in 5 lanes, but can be done. I didn't come back eastbound as plan to check the 407 eastbound ramp from the 401 as it looks tighter than the westbound. Didn't come back that way as the 401 was a parking lot going east when I was ready to head east. Took Derry to Ninth Line and it was a parking lot heading westbound, meaning there was a problem westbound. I was only going to Winston Churchill in the first place and no big deal. When I got near the 401, all traffic was at a standstill going west around the 407 ramps. Since the line up was too long where I wanted to go at Winston Churchill. got back on the 401 to Mississauga Rd to get to Creditview Bridge. Nothing was moving in the westbound lanes all the way pass Mississauga Rd. When I got to Creditview, traffic was moving slowly west. Got back on the 401 going east and traffic was now standstill back to Mavis
Westbound lanes from the 407 will connect to the new collectors lanes, not like it is today and will cut down on today backup in this area.
There were 2 missing bathtubs on the south side and one on the north side for Trafalgar Bridge. No idea if they were installed when the centre spans were installed on the weekend. If not, another closure will be require to finish off the bridge. The new 8-10 lane bridge will be over 8' higher at the north end and over 5' on the south end.
The new westbound off ramp for Trafalgar will be next to the Toronto Premium Outlet site and to deal with the slope from the new bridge.
Sixth Line to west of Trafalgar will require another shut down of the 401 so it can be torn down since it will not support 8 or 12 lanes of traffic. It was to be close June 28.
Creditview Rd New Bridge piers should be all in place this week, but still need to build the retaining support wall at both ends. 3 bathtubs will support the new 3/4 lane road with the underside being over 5 m high compare to the current 4.4 clearance.
This year will see all clearing and grading done as well installing draining system for the collector lanes. Its possible that some concrete lanes will be pour for area ready for them this year from my point of view. The north side is more advance than the south side. Then there are 4 bridge extensions to be built.
June 26 and currently working on June 27
