Everyone: I saw a quote on the Weather Channel (www.weather.com) this afternoon in that Mayor Rob Ford mentioned that this ice storm that Toronto had is one of the worst in the City's history...

It is almost hard to believe how bad things got in southern Ontario,northern NY State and New England while NYC had temperatures today that got near 70 degress Fairenheit - by far a day record...

These are the first pictures that I have seen of the damage from the storm...LI MIKE

Wow these photos remind me of the "Great ice storm" we had in Ottawa back in 1998.

It was eerie standing on my street and just hearing crackling and the loud snaps from the trees. This is by far the worst storm I have ever seen in this city. So many down trees and power outages that cover such a large area.
