Hey Ed, what's the story behind that one?
Picture was taken a few years back when the Dominion Modern Museum Of Modern Architecture and Design had a exhibit on Peter Dickinson. He designed Hummingbird/Sony Centre among many other buildings. He also designed the building the exhibit was held in (south west corner of Bay and College - see first photo below).

sorry, I was in caveman mode today... and Casaguy, I dont have a balcony view like you so... wow, just saw the whole report on CBC news - what a terrible loss and tragedy! I hope that the rebuilding effort will try to recreate the same style of buildings there...

Looking up Bay, the silhouette view of the campanile of Old City Hall standing out against the sky didn't change for almost a century, though so much else did.
