Scanning has its drawbacks as well- glaring darks, distorted colour balance, pronounced textures. I think jn_12 will get decent results with a basic digital camera.

Cool. As an art student in the mid-late 90s, I painted many Annex scenes. I haven't looked at my art in years...wonder if it has any value?

(Although I personally prefer a more painterly style, like Kim Dorland. Maybe Toronto needs another Kim Dorland? Check out John Kennedy's latest in the front gallery at Jamie Angell--lovely.)

the answer would be no. 99.99% of student art is worth nothing in the commercial sense of the word.
