All trains are ready now, they are about to start the final simulated service testing

Significant progress continues to be made and crews are now starting to focus on the operational running of the Confederation Line as well as testing and commissioning.
All 34 trains have completed the DPICO tests and the remaining tests will focus on Operational Scenario testing where the teams will simulate running a scheduled train service.
There is ongoing testing of coupled trains on the alignment. Commissioning of communications systems at the Transit Operation Control Centre (TOCC) is ongoing
OCTranspo is now testing the launching of trains on the guideway, similar to the activities that what will occur in revenue service.
OC Transpo’s Electric Rail Operator training is ongoing.
Weekend operations are now a regular occurrence as part of the simulated operational testing.

Where - trains have names. And the locals form plurals using the Latin convention of adding an "i" to the end of the masculine nominative, singluar noun. Citadii. What's next? The Juliae?

Actually it was meant to be "Good Lord, Stanley!" but the plaque wasn't long enough to accommodate the whole phrase...cutbacks are changing our lives...the "Good" is gone.

This a bad idea. It just screams for an offended group or person to claim offense. Haven't we learned from the incidents with monuments? I mean, really, Canada Goose? They cause aircraft to crash. The Canadian Airline Pilots Ass'n. and the Air Passenger Rights Group will be livid.

Excellent heads-up!

This is exactly the type of instance where the CETA has provided a Cdn lunch to Euro hounds. I believe the 'benefit ratio' is something like 17:1 for the Euros in grabbing projects like this, especially when it comes to financing it too, something Cdn companies are woefully inept at, and yet something they're going to have to learn PDQ, especially with this present regime in QP...but with a huge proviso:

It would appear that any financial contracts were via the City of Ottawa, and not QP. I'll dig on that further, any others doing same most appreciated.
