Typing on the fly. Bayview, and thought it was third rail. Quiet for a diesel, I’m used to GO Train roar. Is there any plan to convert Line 2 to electric overhead lines?

The Flirt trains are designed to operate by diesel or electricity, so conversion is possible. I would not hold my breath that this will every occur.

Also probably more likely it would be retrofitted with pantograph & catenary than third rail & contact shoe, for compatibility with other O-train fleet.

My pipe dream for Ottawa is to see Line 4 continue along the Southeast Transitway from South Keys to Billings Bridge, then head north on Bank Street in a tunnel to Parliament or Lyon Station with underground stops at Lansdowne Park, Glebe, Gladstone, and Somerset.

That way Ottawa finally gets a useful airport rail link and rapid transit along its busiest urban corridor.
