Walked by the factory last night, and there were 4 brand new Bi-Level VIIs. 3 did not have numbers, and one sported # 2736.
Not exactly subways, but RER in Paris and CityRail in Sydney and some suburban routes in Japan (all of which have underground sections with high frequency) use double-decker stock.How about a bi-level subway car? Would it work in super dense cities in Asia or South America?
