Scarborough (and Brampton) both have VIA Rail stations, Mississauga doesn't...

Like Darkstar mentioned, the transit levels separate them and Scarborough has rapid transit, even though it's intermediate!

VP, Warden, and Kennedy stations aren't in Scarborough anymore?

Scarborough could call itself The East Beach(es)...but Mississauga could call itself East Oakville.

They are, but they're not on a specific Scarborough line .

There's no reason why we can't call the B/D line the Scarborough line instead...the Spadina line doesn't run under Spadina, after all.

It was built instead completing the Spadina Expressway. Most of the BD line isn't in Scarborough, thus it's not the Scarborough line. Even when Mississauga builds its LRT, it won't have the futuristic stations of the RT. It's too bad about the reliability and design glitches.
