Sometimes you wonder about people caring about appearances:

Truly. I believe that many of the broken/falling glass reports we hear about are the result of owner negligence.
Objects are often tossed onto balconies with little concern, striking and shattering the panels. Bicycle handlebars, furniture, tools, and bottles, all come to mind.

This was clean up recently. I wonder if this posting had anything to do with it?:

I wonder why the wooden fencing with the graffiti still remains, when all the rest has been removed? Maybe they consider it an art instillation.

An excavation photo I took awhile ago that shows the old foundation of the unsuccessful 1935 Grand Central Market building the city built to replicate the St.Lawrence Market that Cdn Tire bought in 1936. The building was 212ft from front to back. I think they were replacing the old fuel takes at the gas station whilst it was open for the new condo construction.

I guess someone likes stuff like that or they wouldn't get built. I view them as a blight on the city and want 90% of them to get bulldozed.
