I posted this a few days ago to this thread that is meant to discuss the reputation of LRT in the public's eye.
It is a simple and true statement made with no attempt to attach any preference or comparison to any other form of transit and is entirely within the context of the thread title.
What is a transit booster? He or she are possibly the persons who read some sort of agenda into my post or maybe those who post messages and state their opinions on Transit in general that are not appropriate to the thread question.
Most posters to this thread are Transit boosters, especially if the preferred mode is on rails and on a road allowance.
I suggest that you have to realize that almost everyone else makes no distinction between a streetcar line and an LRT. To them, if it is on rails and on the street it is a streetcar. A dedicated ROW doesn't make it better, it makes it worse.
