How was badder? The issue with Megabus is that it drops you off at some gas station in the middle of nowhere. Who thought that would be a good idea.

GO should be running all these local services under different names ie GO London, GO Windsor. It would probably result in better and more direct service and very importantly would, like GTA services, allow for free transfers onto London/Windsor transit. Right now the local shuttle between St.Thomas & London goes from ST to White Oaks mall near the 401. These means you not only have to transfer to get downtown/hospitals/Western/Fanshawe but you also have to pay a completely separate fare. There are now no double fares in Toronto so London/Windsor etc should enjoy the same benefit.

Add passing tracks to the Dundas Sub at the stations. VIA could run express and save time by not stopping at intermediate stations.
Only London,, Brantford and Woodstock needs via. All other stops can be served by GO.
I'm sure Glencoe has more potential. Woodstock and Brantford could use additional stops.
The problem with busses is the traffic.
I left London at 3:00 and I didn't get home till 7:30 driving without stopping anywhere. 175km in 3 and a half hours. 90 minutes to get from the 410 to Yonge Street and this isn't getting any better.
This is why if you want to move people you need bus lanes. Trucks should be given a rebate to use the 407. If the bus is faster than driving people will use it.

The problem with this is that there are good and bad operators.

Why hasn’t flixbus expanded from Toronto to Montreal and Quebec City? One staff says the Quebec corridor is heavily regulated that prevented flixbus from serving that corridor. Could Flixbus at least ask Quebec or file a permit to service Quebec?

Is there enough demand for that many carriers?
The old Greyhound route from Peterborough to Pembroke and then to Ottawa might be good. Midland and Haliburton has no bus service.

There could or at least have a codeshare agreement between coaches if they want to travel from Toronto to Quebec City.

That's true but then you could say that taking VIA is like rolling the dice. You may get there on time or arrive 3 hours late.
