Yes, the Detroit River.
I think I've still got the St Clair R. on my mind after a road trip in Michigan. There appear to be some border crossings -- by ferry -- south of Sarnia at "Sombra" and Walpole Island and I briefly wondered how easy these are to use -- presumably only accessible by car. Not exactly my neck of the woods but I've never heard tell of anyone using these crossings.

I’ve used the Walpole Island ferry once. Pedestrians and cyclists can use it, but it’s not easy to get to without a car.

There was a ferry service across the St. Clair River between Sombra and Marine City MI, but it closed a couple of years ago.

Not an early April fools joke, GO Transit is actually connecting Guelph/Waterloo to Hamilton with a direct bus route!

Not a quick ride from KW to Hamilton via downtown Guelph and UG.

But buried in this, is a regular downtown Kitchener to Guelph GO bus service.
