I'm going to be the contrarian voice here. I think Iggy campaigned decently. The problem was the Liberal platform and the Liberals inability (or unwillingness) to throwdown with the Conservatives on their attacks.

Contrarian, definitely. My in-laws and an aunt were visiting, and they were traditional Liberal voters. It was interesting to hear the old folk all talking about how they simply don't trust Iggy. They didn't say much about the platform at all actually.

This is just anecdotal of course, but it did kind of reflect my feelings and the feelings of my significant other as well. We were disappointed by his parachute in, and felt he just didn't connect on anything. And we are traditionally Liberal voters too.
