Yours pics are great but you may want to consider posting them in one thread - you'll get more comments that way 
I think we should take a page out of SSC's book and create a general Toronto picture thread ... they have one awesome thread for that - that's pretty much the only thing worth while on SSC Toronto

The second shot cannot be from Markham Road. Markham crosses the 401 using an underpass. The photo is taken from Progress.

Right, because this photo looks like it's taken from ground level.
It's clearly taken from the Progress overpass, not from on the highway itself. (and don't attempt this!)

Yep, the captions in both photos should say 'towards', not 'from'.

I dont think anyone other than you suggested they were not interesting photos. Both are very good, I would even say that photo #1 is spectacular !!!
