Hilton Garden Inn (Peter & Adelaide, Easton Group, 16s, P+S)

Agreed. I don't see why every hotel in the area has to be a 'hip' (read: expensive) boutique hotel. A little more variety will work better, as long as the scale and design is nice, of course.

Yeah, it's totally appropriate for the area. It's just not very attractive or current in design.

NYC and Chicago have generic accomodation for the middle-class visitor in the middle of their so-called tourist districts, too.

Bricks on the west side.

I kind of like that look... red brick on the bottom and two toned gray up above, lol! Curious to see what the windows will look like (clear or tinted ?), what sort of casings etc. As it stands now, the brick has it blending in nicely with the neighbouring building(s)

This building does an absolutely excellent job of what the developers set out to do - blend in to the area.

^Lazy? Hell no! In this little hick town, the city mandates blank walls for fire safety issues.

Lazy developer? Why this development deserves "efficient hardworking contractors of the year award" for the speed in which this red brick beauty shot up from the hole!
