GO Transit Fleet Equipment and other

It was supposed to be completed in 2023...
Deliveries were supposed to begin in 2023, nowhere in that article did it say all 94 coaches were going to be delivered back to GO in 2023, that’s impossible to do.

There has clearly been some delays; but this isn’t anything important like the opening of a new station or line, this is out of service equipment that has little-to-no impact to the public, the date doesn’t need to be hard abided to.

Will BiLevels be getting on-board PIDS soon? This was a few weeks ago and I can't find it now, but someone on my LinkedIn network posted complaining about the lack of onboard displays for next station announcements and a manager from Metrolinx commented that they are working on implementing a solution "soon".

I have noticed some old ones that no longer work occasionally. New ones would be great. At night if you have your headphones on it’s really easy to miss your stop.

This was supposed to happen as the cars were upgraded with Cat5. (All of the CEM cars have Cat5 installed from the factory.) All of the accessible cars have displays in them and controllers to run the ones that were to be installed throughout the train.

But as the Cat5 project has been cancelled, they are looking at finding other manners to do this.

2330 is parked in Willowbrook with a good dozen or so windows missing and replaced with some kind of tarp. Upcoming refurbishment victim?

Believe that was the car that got damaged when someone lit the bathroom inside of it on fire.
