A coach - unpowered and no control cab - is probably the simplest thing Bombardier build. Subway trains and LRVs are control, power and propulsion in an integrated system. Hard to compare one product with those others.

Given series 3000 is assign to UPX and the new series as well size of order, best to start a new number series.

The numbers are larger as well the change in font. Don't like the black colour. Then I don't like the fleet colours in the first place

I didn't relly at first but if you see a whole train with it it looks better then amix and match set.

I've seen a few of them on the QEW on rote between Toronto and Hamilton. One of my brothers that lives there took one to Toronto once. I've also seen one parked by Scarborough town centre this week.

When is GO expected to have taken delivery of all the new Double Deckers? What will the bus numbers be at that point?

253 in total over 5 years. 35 or so in 2016, the balance spread out evenly over the remaining 4 years.

I've always found the use of double Deckers is pretty interesting, as far as I know the only other transit authority that uses them is BC transit in Victoria.

Ottawa actually has a sizable fleet of double deckers and Strathcona County has a modest fleet.

It's about the same. Most of the lower height comes from the bottom deck.

Yeah. I've been on the new super-low double deckers twice, and I really have to duck on the lower level.
