Future Toronto 3d model

Wow. Looks amazing. Thanks again. It looks better from all around here than in the promo video screenshots.

that 1st pic is too awesome!

and yes, from a distance, these 3 towers can fit in... right up close is gonna be jarring though. especially since the effect is multiplied 3 times over. hard seeing the city approve the height for all 3 towers

put together a basic massing of NYCC's skyline.. god did it take forever.

Wow. I have time in from the 80's in that North York view. It's really neat to see it like that. Thanks for putting in the extra time

Thanks, absolutely amazing, I know it's a long shot, but I really hope all get built, it will dramatically alter our skyline, for the better! Looking at this I feel like a kid at Christmas! Please please pleaseeeeeeee let it happen! Thanks again for the renderings, great job!

Wow that was quck. Thanks for doing that. If you have time could you possibly post a picture of the skyline from palace pier? You did one a while ago with all buildings visible and it was great. I think with the gehry and casino buildings added it will be even more impressive.

Gotta say...I'm a fan of all of it...except the casino towers.

Why?

Because the thing which makes the Toronto skyline is the CN Tower...and the thing that makes the CN Tower, is that it's much taller
than anything within a few blocks.

The casino towers look like they'll basically obscure the tower up to the observation deck, as seen from the city-side (as opposed to from the shoreline).

Ultimately the tower's iconic role on the skyline will be diminished, and Toronto will look like a homogenous mass of tall buildings.

There should be a perimeter rule around the Tower....IMHO...or at least nothing taller than the Ritz.

I agree, completely. The CN Tower shouldn't be overwhelmed like this.
