Looks like the mentioned grocery store will be for these two ground retail units in the middle here, on the northside of Dundas just west of Dufferin:

A couple floors proposed to be added to this existing 2-storey building on Dundas just west of Sheridan Ave, where Kindling Cannabis is located:

1567 DUNDAS ST W
Ward 9: Davenport

To convert the existing two-storey mixed-use building (containing one commercial unit and one residential unit) into a four-storey mixed-use building (containing one commercial unit and three residential units) by constructing a third and fourth storey addition and a rear three-storey addition with a fourth storey rear rooftop terrace.

First time noticing this Tochal Indian drink and ice cream place at the SW corner of Dundas & Dovercourt. Seems like they've been around for about 5 months based on the count of Google reviews. Might check it out at some point.

Toronto Life piece on Affinity Fish at 1581 Dundas Street West (between Sheridan and Brock):

Great concept, focus on sustainably sourcing fish from the Great Lakes.

Unfortunately, Lake Ontario doesn't really have a commercial fishery at this time, but Georgian Bay/Huron does and so does Erie; though that Lake, like Ontario has some pollution issues.

In time, it would be great to see sustainable, commercial catch in all of the Great Lakes. Its rather silly, expensive and ecologically problematic that we fly in so much seafood when the Great Lakes could naturally sustain an abundance if the Lakes were properly cared for, and there was no overfishing.

Ongoing renovation work for the often changing tenant space at the NW corner of Dundas & Lansdowne:

Looks like possiby a recent application poster outside this long vacant spot on Dundas just west of Dufferin:

I wish that whole triangle at Dundas/Lansdowne/College would be cleared. It has nothing worth preserving, and it's the perfect spot for an iconic midrise flatiron.

Indeed. If only someone was able to assemble the entire block with the gas station and that row of older non-descript homes. Maybe Gairloch have this on their radar...or we can hope. 🥲

New house being built on Palmerston Ave, just south of the Hilary's Pharmacy on the SW corner at Dundas. It replaced a non-descript bungalow:

A couple older pics, but a new house being built along Bathurst south of Dundas that I'll just slot in here:
