Dundas West / Brockton / Portugal Village

Just off Ossington a bit of Dundas, I've always found this sloped streetcars interesting

If you painted the house on the north side of the lane a bright, cheery colour, and slightly narrowed the street, re-did it with interlock, and used elegant railings, you could make it feel very San Fran..........

Same as the craft brewery space across the street, it's tough to get people to make their way to these "end of the strip" sites. Something needs to be really good to entice them to be there in order for these businesses to have longevity.

1596 Dundas West starting construction. Will look for rendering as this is a large multiplex. Also the high turnover building at Dundas/Landsdowne now has a patio. Nice laneway project that has been incrementally worked on over 15 years. Some random shots of one of my favourite neighbourhoods. Taken 23 August.
