I'm not sure if the mods want individual threads for the above ground LRT stops, but in any case, here are updated renders from the Crosstown website:

I noticed in the first pic, the grass on the left side stops immediately before the station. Will this grass continue on the other side of the station?

Yes, though there will be gaps due to the DVP off-ramps.

It would have been nice to convert Wynford/Eglinton into a grade intersection, but I don't think that's part of the plan.

That was planned at one point, but I would rather it be kept separated, so as to not slow down traffic and the LRT. But converting the ramps down to Wynford into regular T intersections where they meet Eglinton would be good, so they are not like the current highway on/off ramps.

So it appears (from the renderings) that Wynford is now going to have parallel side platforms. The last I'd heard, it was going to have far-side platforms (like Hakimi Lebovic and Golden Mile) only in this case the "street" they'd be straddling was to be the new signalized pedestrian crosswalk. The eastbound platform was going to be on the bridge over Wynford Drive but now it looks like both platforms will be west of the pedestrian crossing and opposite each other.

Hmmm I would imagine this stop would get packed with passengers at rush hour due to all the offices.

Is it just me or is anyone else a little disappointed that these aren't a bit more protected considering most of these stations are in the middle of wide ROWs that will surely have enormous gusts of wind tossing passengers around?

If you ask Metrolinx this question, their excuse will be "service levels will be frequent enough that at-grade stops do not warrant full climate protection".

So what's the excuse for the shelters on the the York region lines? How rapid are those buses?

That's always been the plan. Not much to be disappointed about. I fully expected this to be the end result when the say "in-median ROW LRT" - St. Clair with longer trains and wider stop spacing.

Viva Purple will be half hourly soon on certain sections, so not very frequent. Viva Yellow isn't that frequent either.
