Car free Niagara Falls

My thoughts exactly, we did a wine tour in the Niagara region and the lack of bike lanes and space for people was shockingly bad for how much interest there is in bike wine tours. Huge potential for bike tourism and most will avoid it with how dangerous the roads are there.
To be fair, Niagara Region is paving the shoulders of a lot of regional roads, which makes rural cycling tours a lot easier for a lot more people. The problem is that's pretty low effort and hardly unique as lots of counties and regions in Ontario are now doing the same. In Niagara's urban areas the cycling infrastructure consists almost exclusively of painted bike lanes that disappear at intersections, and not a protected intersection in sight. Even the much vaunted Niagara River Recreational Trail is narrow and looks like it hasn't been updated since the 80s.

Huge investment for Niagara transit. Does that mean the LFSA's for WEGO are up for replacement? Interesting that they didn't get hybrid's?
Would be nice to see the green paint scheme make a comeback.
