Bloor-Yorkville Scene

Hate the new entrance at 151 Bloor.....it feels so closed up now. I hope La Societe would be able to survive.

Any clue what's going on at the old Hermes spot? I saw people clearing the place out last night.

They've re-done the 130 Bloor West Site which makes it look like they are pitching an active client (a french accessories brand). http://www.130bloorstreetwest.ca/gallery/

But doesn't look leased, if I had to guess they're close to signing something.

Also - confirming that Barry's Bootcamp has leased the majority of the Cumberland portion of 100 Bloor (ground floor entrance with a second floor studio).

Final pieces of the puzzle for 102-108 Yorkville Avenue. Versace will open its Canadian flagship between the new Jimmy Choo and Brunello Cucinelli stores: https://www.retail-insider.com/retail-insider/2018/7/versace-canada-flagship-toronto-yorkville

As well, a high-end Japanese restaurant will be revealed in a few weeks for the basement level of the building.

Watch for some design changes to the proposed 101 Yorkville project, including amendments to the placement of the laneway.

There will be quite a few changes on Bloor over the next several years, as many retail spots are available for sublease. More than are advertised.

Interior demolition of the old Hermès spot on Bloor was being undertaken when I walked by this afternoon- haven’t heard anything about it being leased yet?

Looks like First Capital is tentatively leasing out Diesel and Anthro's space on Yorkville. Also looks like they are back at the drawing board for 101 Yorkville, according to the most recent brochure. First capital has also acquired a partial interest in the Hazleton Hotel (+ its retail space)... Having a unified landlord focussing on curating the retail space across almost all of Yorkville will be incredibly interesting.
