I see dozens of these birds every day but this is the first time I've really 'seen' them, if you know what I mean. It looks like an artist sat down and hand painted it.

Your photography reminds me of the first time Eric Clapton and Pete Townshend saw Jimi Hendrix play in England , both of them felt like throwing away their guitars. I feel like throwing my camera at a tree. Keep up the good work.

I've seen dozens of these birds everyday but this is the first time I've really 'seen' them, if you know what I mean. It looks like an artist sat down and hand painted it.

Yesterday evening they were massing in their thousands on the construction crane at Bay and Dundas, on the ledges of the office tower at Yonge and Dundas, and in the trees at Bell Trinity Square. And making a helluva racket with their high-pitched squawkings.

European in origin, the starling is considered an invasiv species. Apparently first introduced to NewYork's central park in 1860.
