Would be nice to see the existing structure restored.

While it's fairly modest, Toronto is a bit short on these types of housing typologies (especially ones that don't have SUV-sized parking garages attached).

Interesting note- not sure if it's the same Spicecart, but it looks like their portfolio has some heritage restorations?

There can't be that many Spicecarts buying properties in Toronto, so I think you can assume that they are intending to renovate and restore here based on the company's portfolio!

Spicecart do have a dual strategy of either restoration to become an revenue generating asset, or hold onto properties for a while before flipping them later. Guess they did some calculations, and the numbers didn't work out for them to take this on themselves.
 
No substantive news...........except to say Spicecart is still lobbying the City on this property; to what end, I do not know.
