I always feel like the HMV building and the ex-Empress Hotel site will eventually be assembled at some point in the near future.

I feel like 10 Dundas is one of those "Too Big to Get Rid of" buildings, where renovation ultimately is more cost-effective than replacement.

It'll only get replaced if it falls into disrepair (if it costs too much to fix it), or if building an even bigger complex becomes economically viable.

For now, it'll be our own Montreal Forum, and I think the only hope is plastering as much of its surface area with advertising.
