2014 Ontario Provincial Election

The problem isn't Patrick Brown changing his mind about same-sex marriage and sex education. The problem is he is only pretending to change his mind. If his change comes off as insincere, I don't see how that helps him.

Ironically, this whole episode has only improved my views of Brown. Anyone who uses Jack Fonseca and Charles McVety, realizes they are nuts and then distances himself, is okay in my books.

Not that it matters (since they have a majority) but the act that Mr. McGuinty introduced and passed in the legislature (the Election Statute Law Amendment Act, 2005, I think) provided for Ontario having elections on the first Thursday in October every four years, starting with 2007.....if we are moving that date, can we do it via a Steve Paikin tweet or do we have to, you know, respect parliament and amend the act?

Social conservatives have their revenge against @brownbarrie over his sex-education flip-flop with @samoosterhoff's surprise NWG win.

Oliver has presumably decided to run in York Centre because the PCs are thinking Monte Kwinter (who is 85 and has recently returned after an illness) won't finish his term. Though Kwinter says he plans to run again.

i hope she loses.

I think Liberals in ON are like Trump. Nothing sticks.
