Not only that, but there's a number of new things also coming: Finally get the proper skypark - about three times the size of now with better access. Two new footbridges New landscaped laneway Crazy cantilevering structure AND it's a few feet taller (should have been a few hundred feet taller...

Agreed - especially the one in the middle... I mean what absolute halfwit thought that having gone through all the effort and care to set up that central axis - that goes from artwork of Canadian forests, framed by monumental scaled, sculpted travertine walls through the crisp facade and main...

All puns aside, can’t let that pass without comment. Chapeau! on an excellent photo from a new angle. It’s testament to… something… that this building is drawing out pictures as good as this. The Instagram test, or something.

That looks like finest Italian travertine. A beautiful stone. Classic

I guess the large raised planter protects from immediate salting from the streets around so although a bit of spray from the Gardiner would seem inevitable, hopefully they'll take ok. Has to be tried right?

I assume that as it's only about connecting the Path further east, there won't be much urgency to it. Not like the rest of the construction of the tower depends on it.

Interesting to see the note about connecting through to 1 Front in the basement,

It's easy to forget just how long they were just digging on Phase 1. The Phase 2 site is even more constrained - they'll be scrabbling in the dirt for a while I reckon.

Probably combination of camera struggling and tuning yet to be done. I'd like to see it fade towards the top rather than glowing like a big sugar cube.

I would say that there is a combination of construction and final internal lighting in place, but that it us very unlikely that any tuning has been done to get the balance right yet. I don't know to what extent they're going to do that given that they must just be trying to get the damn thing...

Maybe there's a safety issue around wanting to resolve squishy pedestrians mixing with large metal buses that is nothing to do with viruses. I'm sure if we all put our heads together we might come up with an answer that makes sense. /sarcasm Beyond that, it looks from the photos I've seen that...

There's a few things that are yet to happen here. The office lights won't or shouldn't be as harsh as the construction lights - they will also probably be timed to go off once the offices empty. The feature lighting to pick out the diamond fins will come into play Even given that, the balance...

I suspect that that close to the Gardiner, it has to be 'wipe clean'. It's a bit of a harsh environment on that side of the site.

That would have greatly improved it - although that would have been two glass types to get right from the same supplier ...and nothing is completely above criticism. I think it's a good observation.
