    Toronto Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

Your rapid transit would probably be a ferris wheel.

You can see the "before" brick on page 329 of this thread. It's lower grade filler brick and it's pretty rough. What's there now is horrible. I foresee some sort of artwork or electronic sign to cover it up.

Sheppard Line 4 Subway Extension (Proposed)

Transit funding, especially Scarborough transit funding, is usually associated with electioneering. Those timetables don't necessarily line up provincially and federally.

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

The right turn lanes onto King should be signalized just like the left turn lanes are. Obviously yield to pedestrians and no turn on red. Either signal should never turn green if there is a streetcar waiting to enter the intersection. The presence of signals would make automated enforcement...

    Toronto One Front | 170.86m | 49s | Larco | a—A

Showing the front of Union as a woonerf calls into question the rest of the rendering. 🧐

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

Yup, Ferdinand Bolstraat at Quellijnstraat looking south towards the Albert Cuyp Market. How do those businesses survive without parking spots in front of them!!!

And businesses that choose to have their deliveries during non-peak hours will not see a difference. Everyone has options.

    Toronto CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

The solution is to run trains, not buses. This is a self-inflicted wound.

    Toronto Therme Spa/West Island at Ontario Place | 45.15m | 9s | Therme Group | Diamond Schmitt

Wait, I thought the monorail was the attraction and the ferris wheel was the rapid transit!?

'Fare Free Transit'? Will it work in the GTHA

The latest episode of the Freakonomics podcast is on this topic: https://www.stitcher.com/show/freakonomics-radio/episode/513-should-public-transit-be-free-206089212 I'm for this concept but it has suffered from branding. Transit, of course, isn't free. The idea is to transition the...

That's sort of an oxymoron. :) Beams are horizontal, posts are vertical. If the OP is talking about the yellow posts, then yes those are temporary. Everything else is staying. The angular steel being neither vertical or horizontal I would refer to as hangers.

    Toronto 401 Bay Street | 143.86m | 33s | Cadillac Fairview | WZMH

A few pages back, someone posted those white walls belonged in a washroom. I'm thinking, yeah, I could pee on that.

    Toronto Forma | 308m | 84s | Great Gulf | Gehry Partners

Just speculating, but with the change of developer, time delay and design changes, perhaps it was Gehry that removed his name.

I thought they would have done the diagonals and corner fill-ins at this point and the floor they're forming now would be another "full floor". Apparently not. Maybe the corners will be a trailing activity all the way up?

    Toronto Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

The link visually shows the ILS and RNAV (GPS) approaches for Billy Bishop: https://www.navcanada.ca/en/publicnoticeytz-billy-bishop-instumentprocedureupdatesfinal.pdf ILS 26 approach is the pertinent one. ILS will typically work plus/minus 3 degrees laterally on either side of the signal...

    Toronto Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

The approach path for Billy Bishop limits buildings in most of the portlands to 25 storeys. This surrendered tax base is yet another reason to get rid of BB.
