+1 The new Minto 775 building looks really good and isnt the typical boring glass tower. Same goes for Plazacorp. HUGE floorplans.......their 1 bedroom units are the same size as 2 bedroom units from other builders in the city!

The video of the door blowing open is no surprise. I saw that over at Waterpark City, which ironically is another project built by Lanterra. I feel really bad for that guy.

These people won't lose their jobs, unless by their own choice. Usually, the union employees are given an offer to come work for the outsourced company. If they choose not to accept it, then they are out of luck. There will probably be lawsuits filed, but Im sure the city lawyers are good...

lets hope the building is kept in good condition. It would be quite an eye sore on the city of Toronto to see something like the image below as you enter the downtown core via the Gardiner Expressway...let alone across the way from your $300-400K condo investment.

what is there to explain? The majority of people will not want to live in an area where there is social housing, making it harder to sell your condo at a reasonable rate.

ouch....that's going to be great for property value in that area! lol
