It is definitely paused, the new owner said on Instagram that they have reached a deal with the developer to extend the bar lease for several years. Once the condo market recovers, you can expect a development here. Could be different developer and design by then, but this site is in two MTSAs...

    Toronto Exhibition Transit Oriented Community | ?m | 54s | Infrastructure ON | SvN

huh? yes I am aware they are two different things, that's why I asked my question to the forum. Anyway, found the answer to my question: MTSAs only allow development up to "30 storeys within 200m of a transit station and up to 20 storeys within 200–500m", didn't know it was so limited. cheers...

My best pics from the canoe art performance, taken from the South shore of Biidaasige Park, and Cherry Street bridge. It was very beautiful but kind of difficult to view. I wanted an epic photo with the skyline but clouds obscured it, kind of made the flags stand out more.

Never paid any attention to this project. Here are screenshots from their reel on social media highlighting that the hot tub above the front entrance has a glass bottom. Wow 😂

I get what you are saying, that this is dynamic land. We have definitely lost all of that land use in the core, particularly along Dupont and in places like Corktown, Liberty Village, and The Portlands. However, I think it's okay to lose this land in the core, you won't find land like this in...

Josh Matlow gave a great explainer on how development works in the city. Would be great if people planning to deputize had to listen to it before they wrote their speeches, maybe some could be dissuaded from wasting time and energy.

Behind the main street of The Junction Neighbourhood, with a rail lines behind it. What's wrong with having residential on top of commercial? It certainly looks like there will be lots of employment in the massive podiums in the rendering.

This would be our 2nd injured animal sculpture, the donkey at Clover Hill Park being the 1st, both very random selections.

Haha good for you! Yes, they think of not travelling by personal vehicle as beneath them economically and uncivilized. I pre-warned my Americans that they were going to experience life like a local and they should wear comfy shoes. I explained to mine that not owning a car is freedom, they were...
