The TEYCC session going on right now is, as you might expect, hilarious...

More than 50 deputants. Hilarious if you're urbanistically sadomasochistic. Sadurbanomasotisicallichistic?

Bit busy this morning so I missed the start of this item................why exactly is Moise holding this when it's not even in his ward?

I guess this project isn't being well received by the locals?

Gotta grow up someday and realize this is a changing city. While I find this a bit tall, I think it's a nice way of sticking it to NIMBYs - but also with nearby tall buildings, like the former Imperial Oil tower that's graced this stretch for 50 years alongside this current building, this project won't stick out like a sore thumb.
This is still what, a mile from St. Clair station? And about the same from the other side of Line 1? And on a rapid transit line that'll get you to either end in minutes?
I find it hard to argue that this is an overreach.

Crazy to see another good, large building become a teardown. What a system we have.

I know what you mean academically, but it's absolutely filled with asbestos and nobody (save the government, as we've seen with the most recent tenancy) is paying the rents that would warrant a full abatement and restoration. It certainly is a beautiful building, but given the aforementioned, what's your preferred solution?

Maybe I don’t get something here, but if this going to be built (and looks like the renderings) how this existing grey glass box with no street level experience can be good compared to what’s proposed??
