    Toronto The Well | 174.03m | 46s | RioCan | Hariri Pontarini

Thanks for going on a tangent. I never said I’m not happy with the outcome of this project. I’m not happy with the disruption caused by the construction. I was just asking if anyone knows when construction will be complete.

    Toronto The Well | 174.03m | 46s | RioCan | Hariri Pontarini

When is this project scheduled to be complete? As a nearby resident whose life has been disrupted by this project, I’m sick and tired of the construction.

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

I never claimed that the illegal drive through rate is 50%, I said 50% or less. It still happens far too often. I walk by King and Spadina daily and see it too often. MetroMan is doing a good job of documenting this so I defer to his video observations, As for blocked intersections, I am...

Toronto Spadina Subway Extension Emergency Exits | ?m | 1s | TTC | IBI Group

This is all irrelevant and I didn’t bother to read it detail after a) you again decided to be contrarian as is your perverse need and b) after reading your typo of 111 years which I’m sure you meant to be 11. 11 years is too long, 4 years is too long, 17 months is too long.

Sheppard Line 4 Subway Extension (Proposed)

No, it’s him. He admitted it in a message to me. Unfortunately I can’t find it now. He’s been the same the same paranoid, angry, “get off my lawn”, “Respect Scarborough”, “Subways subways subways”, Rob Ford crack-loving fake news-spreading guy all along.

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

Nope, not going to happen. Just because you said so. This is a discussion forum, there remains much to discuss about King Street, and so we will continue to discuss.

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

I will not move on from pointing out the glaring holes remaining in otherwise a successful pilot. I expect the city to take action on these and if I continue to raise some small awareness here, then I will continue. But I actually agree (for once) with the many suggestions you make because they...

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

Always the contrarian. Without exception. Its tiresome. Extending the logic you espouse in your last paragraph, since we live in largely a peaceful and lawful city, we should accept lawlessness if and when it happens. “Oh everything is going great so let’s just focus on that.” Newsflash - we...

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

Obviously you don’t spend that much time on King. I estimate there are illegal drive-throughs at every second light cycle. Do you think an adherence rate of 50% (or less) means a law is working well? Also, if you spend time on King you would also witness, this time on nearly every light...

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

What a joke. An ever bigger joke is that there are NO MAJOR PLANS to address this GLARING ISSUE in the proposed improvements to King now that the pilot is permanent. There are NO plans to increase enforcement. The other GLARING ISSUE that nobody seems to take seriously is the total disregard...

Danforth Line 2 Scarborough Subway Extension

More fake news - “streetcar style LRT”. Not only is this logically inconsistent (for the 1029385th time - LRTs ARE NOT streetcars), but also it is patently FALSE that ANYONE fought for streetcars in Scarborough. Get off the Rob Ford crack cocaine bro.

Danforth Line 2 Scarborough Subway Extension

Just like pretty much all his other arguments. “major growth node” “RT is nonsense” “downtown left” “downtown media” This is some serious fake news, folks.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

Saw this hunk of junk on Queen St yesterday. They really should put this thing out to pasture.

Ontario Line North of Eglinton (was Relief Line North) (Speculation)

It’s not that I’m questioning the technical challenges raised, I’m questioning that The Star even wrote this article given the fact that they *have not* written a similar article for the Relief Line. To me, the reason why this article was written, and an equivalent one not written for the...

Ontario Line North of Eglinton (was Relief Line North) (Speculation)

While many of the points The Star writes are valid, the fact that they wrote this piece at all betrays their typical political bias. Have they written a similar smear piece on the technical challenges of the Relief Line, of which there are also many?

    SmartTrack (Proposed)

One could argue that’s the Smarttrack concept was stupid as an actual transit modality but was quite useful for putting pressure on the province for... +1

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

I can’t find a reference right now but there was speculation that the province would simply claw back its gas tax transfer once the feds upped theirs. Not saying it’s a good situation for the city, just saying it isn’t completely surprising.

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

And nobody seems to have any solutions, or improved enforcement, for stopping illegal drive-throughs. Sad.
