    Toronto Union Station Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | NORR

Agree!! It’s the most ridiculous Toronto thing. Negligent planning & policy and def not a priority. The absolute lack of aesthetic charm that city staff & planners put out onto the streetscapes, to help create beautiful spaces is clearly evident. Planters. Garden beds. Permanent Art...

    Toronto Ontario Place | ?m | ?s | Infrastructure ON

It looks different to me from what I can recall. Some earlier design pics aren’t all here or I can’t find them. Different angles of design maybe? Not quite sure what’s separate from Therme space & other parks & spaces connecting? I just don’t remember or like the all grey pavement.

    Toronto The HUB | 258.46m | 59s | Oxford Properties | Rogers Stirk Harbour

Could be a good looking building. Why is it all grey? Hope that changes, There are REASONS why people say the colour GREY should be banned in Toronto. Clue In. Didn‘t mind the initial renderings~looked better.

The renderings look great? Lol. No they don’t. The previous plan of the beach part was so much better. That’s regressed terribly. It’s all dull grey pavement & pathways overwhelming everything. Previous plan of different coloured pavers & slabs on pathways was actually nice. More earthy...

    Toronto 100 Bond | 67.45m | 23s | Bazis | Rosario Varacalli

Maybe. But rules & panels can change. If the DRP consists mostly of high regarded architects, urban designers & landscape arch. in the city then I’ll go with their critique 90% of the time~ over some cost cutting developer & city councillor. You know, It’s just the city’s architectural...

That’s ridiculous. Then why even have that panel?

That front blue/white striped generic office facade ruins this promising building. The Design Review Panel needs an overhaul if they approved this. New progressive mayor = new panel w high quality taste.

City could do so much more‼️ The lack of innovation & creativity with Toronto city staff regarding creating grand public spaces in downtown core, is astonishingly lacking .. comparatively : Montreal, Chi, London .. Longtime Toronto Parks head is moving on so maybe that spurs on ambitious changes.

Union Station on Front St.(hopefully a pedestrian area soon)is a good looking, impressvery long civic building, built in 1920’s.But that doesn‘t mean the city isn’t allowed to have an attractive public space out front. Some permanent art (where did that great Raptors sculpture go?) & creative...

    Toronto TOOR Hotel / The 203 Residences on Jarvis | 108.2m | 32s | Manga | Arcadis

There’s something about this blue glass exterior that I don’t hate. Cuz I loathe the whole dull blue-grey colour scheme of Toronto condos thru-out the city. This looks more like a vibrant midnight blue hue that I kinda like, if pics are true w/o big filters.

    Toronto Elm – Ledbury | 94.18m | 28s | Fitzrovia | Hariri Pontarini

This is beautiful. Attractive & well designed. This is how newly built rentals should look & less like The Ivy on Gloucester-Luxury ones or more modest. The worst thing ever for Toronto is a bunch of generic & sad looking blu-grey rectangular rentals popping up all over this place.

    Toronto 50 Scollard | 147.62m | 41s | Lanterra | Foster + Partners

What a downgrade from previous plans. All of the renderings shown are from prev. plan except one - the 1 updated one. Just one? Wonder why? Looked like a promising cool modern layered structure w a copper-like hue in previous renderings/design- would standout in skyline by the park. Now it’s...

Toronto The Quay, Tower Three (was Maple Leaf Quay) | 66.44m | 21s | Pacific Reach | BDP Quadrangle

I like the look of these buildings by the lake. Not grey. Clean. Attractive enough.

    Toronto 225 Queen East | 121.4m | 37s | Dash Developments | Arcadis

I was half kidding w the false advertisng claim. Oh & absolutely it was intentional for a better looking rendering that will most likely be in the grey blue colour scheme fam. Again.

    Toronto Love Park | 3m | 1s | City of Toronto | CCxA

I think some reflective colour (some golds, pinks, red) in pond base would have been a fantastic aesthetic. It’s such a large area, you can’t help focusing on it. It’s just. good looking & refreshing park in city. Good to see. Waiting on the vines. Love it.

Just realize there will NOT be any pinkish- like hue coming from the windows. Which is actually my favorite part of this rendering. False advertising. Not interested in the reflection vibe from sky or neighboring buildings. I like a rosé tint.

    Toronto Toronto Coach Terminal Redevelopment | ?m | 41s | Kilmer + Tricon | Studio Gang + a—A

Can we please get some vibrant colour in our Toronto skyscrapers. Skyline is definitely looking better each year. A true top 10 Best skyline in the World list. Needs some oomph. Toronto has that one gorgeous red building surrounded by a sea of the rest. The blue, grey (this looks dark grey...
