    Hamilton King William Urban Rentals | 97.56m | 30s | LIUNA | Graziani + Corazza

Honestly would be very surprised to see any national restaurant chains come into this stretch. 100% of all that has happened to date has been from local entrepreneurs.

Can someone tell me if this one will become Hamilton's second tallest tower. That shot above likely from Sam Lawrence Park first time for me to see Stelco Tower (100 King W) to be largely hidden!

Hopefully 117 Jackson OLT battle will break the glass ceiling and put an end to this silly city obsession with height restrictions limited to the escarpment ridgeline.

Ha, yes, I realize that, just trying to get the thread back on track. All the positive things that have happened in downtown are at risk with the homeless issue going unchecked. I can see why retail and restaurant investors would be hesitant.

Somehow I don't think McDonald's is coming to the base of this complex. Any hints on what might being signed up either to compliment the residents or restaurant row?

    Hamilton Bayfront Studio District | ?m | 8s | Aeon | BDP Quadrangle

The City really needs to get out of the land development partnership business. Create to conditions for progressive development and let the private sector do what they do best.

    Hamilton 117 Jackson Street East | 126.47m | 39s | Dicenzo Homes | Graziani + Corazza

I am wondering if this one will serve to be the proverbial canary in the coal mine, if it escapes with a height breaking the escarpment limit. For sure others will quickly follow, including some of those already underway (TV City comes to mind)

Interesting bump out on east side as they go up.

I am just hoping they really execute inside very well, but I am most excited about how others are going to invest around the Arena (will it be branded TD, Tim Hortons, or my ironically favourite Air Canada). With rates coming down, should be no excuses not to see some complimentary investment to...

As long as they keep installing rebar and pouring concrete, I am happy. So many other projects have stalled out.

Reno to a not so old structure.

    Hamilton International Airport

$400MM over 49 years.... golf clap ! Focus on spend will be in areas outside of passenger areas (only will happen when there is carrier induced demand) As BCTed on SSP noted .... Heck, Kelowna is spending more over just the next decade: https://ylw.kelowna.ca/business/projects-and-planning...

Anyone peer into the pit to see a sign that the are or that they have poured the foundation for the cranes?

So pretty, will match the adjacent mod townhouse row

Something tells me that Emblem won't use that angle to put into their marketing material.

Quite the internal transformation, looking forward to seeing it when it opens in 13 months! Will be curious if we begin to hear about whether the SallyAnn will relocate and we get some real action along York Blvd to feed off the reno. Also, anything happening in JS side (either within JS or...

    Hamilton 106 Bay Street | 25.83m | 6s | CityHousing Hamilton | Kearns Mancini

If they left that much density untapped they should be able to sell their unused to other local sites (more cash for city housing), and get some appropriate density in the hood.
