They're still operating in manual mode and still doing some work. I took this pic Tuesday. They said that we'll know 30 days in advance before the start of service. So in 10 days we don't get a confirmation, ain't gonna happen.

Plante killing the projet...

December 1st 2022 is a placeholder date for the REM. There's lots of - if all testing is conclusive - throughout the text on their website. I would not be surprised if it's pushed back to April 2023. I'm still really mad about the cancelling of the REM de l'Est, hopefully that the province...

Considering a small town to retire to in 2030-35. Recommendations?

Being from New Brunswick myself, I can see how you felt that way. Strangers are usually not welcomed to stay in a small knitted close-minded monocultural community. Montréal Transit Developments

Pre-pandemic, it was exceeding capacity between McGill and Berri-UQÀM. The STM didn't want any further extensions without adding a relief line downtown. Add the underconstruction REM and blue line extension, you were already looking at a disaster. Add this truncated project and you'll have a...

Instead of improving the project, they are planning to remove the downtown section entirely. STM and ARTM will manage the project. The STM already has the most stuffed vehicles in North America, this will make it worse...
