    Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 (nCoV-2019)

What? They put dividers on GO Trains? First time I've read that anywhere in the World for trains. So much for "save the planet" with so much pastic used for show and no scientific evidence.

It was actually mandated by the government for their decision to make.

    Proposed renaming of Dundas Street

There is nothing progressive about the "woke progressives".

    Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 (nCoV-2019)

Why you need to close up and 80% of the elligible population will soon be fully vaccinated? We need to stop looking at cases and look at hospitalizations. All of the experts saying the UK reopening would be a catastrophe, it wasn't. A vaccine passport would have helped on April/May and not...

    Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 (nCoV-2019)

Not in Québec, per the articles I read. But again every business owner see it differentely. Some prefer that than to face another lockdown, some want all restrictions removed.

    Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 (nCoV-2019)

It was 70%, then 75%, then upped to 80% by the feds.

    Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 (nCoV-2019)

Herd immunity treshold is supposedly in about a week (80% single, 75% double vaccinated). I understand that going with a vaccine passport would be a pain in the ass to administer for businesses. Many provinces are fully open already.

Because it will probably be the same requirements for offices and then I care.

    Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 (nCoV-2019)

I didn't say no risk, I said lower risks. Risks that other provinces are willing to accept. The mish-mash of measures in Canada will help no one. Why New-Brunswick is fully open, they don't "follow the science"?

    Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 (nCoV-2019)

So masks and physical distancing in schools for Ontario? How long will people support that last since a few provinces removed ALL measures. We should be at 80% fully vaccinated by then. Plus kids have the lowest risk.

    Montréal Transit Developments

The CDPQi is still public. But yeah, they are trying to emulate the Hong Kong model.

    Montréal Transit Developments

The best thing that happened is basically the Caisse taking over and forcing politicians to finally act. Un tiens vaut mieux que deux tu l'auras. How's the blue line going again, yeah...

    VIA Rail

If that is the planned service, than yes service will be much better. I assume a similar service pattern for Québec City-Drummondville-Montréal corridor?

    VIA Rail

Thanks for the links. And for your question, the answer is 2). Daily commuting becomes a reality with better scheduling. Many, myself included, need day trips for work. Cornwall for one, could be a candidate for an early morning train for people who work in Montreal. This demand will only...

    VIA Rail

I don't do feelings. That was my point from the get go. I would love to see the tangible gains from HFR in the current corridor as it has not been explicitely explained yet.

    VIA Rail

Still worse service for the current corridor, which was my point. City mayors said this week that their stations would get better service with HFR. *Cornwall, *Kingston. I can't see it yet and would gladly get more info on how it would be possible. There were some mentions on keeping all the...

    VIA Rail

Me too, with all smaller cities on existing routes saying we will get much better service with HFR, either VIA is lying or the cities didn't get the notice.

There were pics in this thread about the different car configurations, I don't want to spend hours to find them again,

Can someone repost the chargers configurations? I'm trying to put my head around it.
