    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

I emailed the Public Consultation Coordinator at Aadila.Valiallah@toronto.ca. We'll see what she says.

Etobicoke Centennial Park - Updated Masterplan

My argument against ski hills is climate change, which is pretty sad because I would hate to see less snow. On the other hand, I don't think skiing and other natural activities should be far away from the city. One of Vancouver's greatest strengths is its access to nature (and skiing) in very...

Do you know what project led to these paving stones? Does it have to do with planning?

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

I don't think they're very detailed, but my whole point is that these goals should be addressed when the street is getting rebuilt. Nevertheless, I think it's an amazing plan and I really hope it actually gets implemented. On another note, if we want the provincial government to stop letting...

Etobicoke Centennial Park - Updated Masterplan

It's kind of sad to see the ski hills close. I had so many great memories there as a kid, and the skiing instructors were great! Sadly, climate change is real.

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Did they forget about the Downtown Parks & Public Realm Plan? It's not supposed to be just bike lanes, we're supposed to be seeing a complete reimagination of this street or a "grand promenade", according to the plan. This is what's supposed to happen... ... But all we see here are bike lane...

    Toronto 1071 King West | 62.2m | 17s | Hullmark | BDP Quadrangle

Sorry, but this is an earlier design from May 2019. We now have a new design with a strip of blue/green masonry bricks over the storefronts - and I think that's awesome!

They better use this amazing design for the new LRT bridges!

In the garage, right? If that's the case, I think it's a good idea because it would require less space than a ramp.

Apparently this happened... If only the DRP posted its minutes on their website. Nowadays they usually don't

    Toronto 1075 Bay | 210.25m | 59s | Canderel | Hariri Pontarini

I agree with all of these points. We tend to forget that ultimately the developer approves the design, not the designer. Regarding David Pontarini, I think he has been in charge of some great projects, although I think that his faction of the firm doesn't have as much of a commitment to quality...

    Toronto 1075 Bay | 210.25m | 59s | Canderel | Hariri Pontarini

The way I see it, the firm is split into two factions. The one led by Siamak Hariri takes on very high-quality projects. The other one is led by David Pontarini, and they are the ones that work on condo projects. The variances in quality are very big in Pontarini's faction and I think are...

    Toronto Concord Sky | 299m | 85s | Concord Adex | Kohn Pedersen Fox

Unpopular opinion - none of the designs were good, although I favoured the first one.

    * Design Review Panel (DRP) We have one city-wide DRP, the Waterfront DRP that operates within the Designated Waterfront Area, the Toronto Community Housing DRP, and the Metrolinx DRP (although no one knows what goes on there or whether it's still active).

    Toronto 2128 Yonge | 45.1m | 12s | Reserve Properties | IBI Group

I'm really shocked to see this quality come out of IBI Group. Now I really want this to get built!

    Toronto Scarborough Town Centre Block C | 149m | 45s | Oxford Properties | BDP Quadrangle

Love? It's better than the old version, but come on! Colour is good, but is that really enough to win people over?

Toronto Bathurst Quay Revitalization | ?m | 2s | City of Toronto | Kearns Mancini

Thank you for your thorough and informative reply. I agree that we should have seating that allows people to face any direction. For that, I would suggest using the West 8 bench that doesn't have back support (as seen in my first image). I respect your vision, but I just think that the West 8 +...

    Toronto 1910 Eglinton Avenue East | 133.25m | 40s | Yorkreal Holdings | Turner Fleischer

Meh... much better than the previous one, but still nothing special. Tower isn't terrible, but the podium just doesn't create an urban environment.

Toronto Bathurst Quay Revitalization | ?m | 2s | City of Toronto | Kearns Mancini

Just some feedback... I really like this project and am so inspired by how well it's moving along. My concern is that the seating along the water's edge is just blocks of concrete. Isn't it better to have a consistent identity along the waterfront? My idea is to replace the concrete seats with...
