    Toronto Rogers Centre Renovations | ?m | ?s | Toronto Blue Jays | Populous

some modifications can be staggering. I don't think we will see that here but have a look at Angels Stadium now compared to what it was. It's the same stadium. It blows my mind.

$250mm? can't do much. i suppose they should prioritize re-aligning the 100 level seating towards home plate, cut out some concrete and pop in some windows. i would love them to knock out all the levels in the outfield except the 100 level, get rid of the hotel (probably requires a buy...

i'm just catching up now. i'm actually a bit shocked that people are saying Cresford had a good track record. It's definitely better than Concord and the original proposal was better but I lived at NXT which was a cresford building and what a disaster that was. Nonstop floods, peeling...

    Toronto 49-51 Yonge Street | 226.86m | 62s | SmartCentres | a—A

there's a lot of junk in Toronto that should come down. there's some heritage buildings where incorporating the facade would work. These buildings though? they don't deserve that. These are beautiful and shouldn't be touched. I always think of that horrible building on University Ave where...

yea, and if they let it slip, i'm sure the players, fans, and management would all be demanding it gone once it starts causing fielding errors

i think that would make it too easy to lose the ball when tracking a fly

i live a couple blocks next to this thing. i can't wait for it to be done. also, i can't wait for barton to be like "Queen West" lol. it's got a LONG ways to go before you could even compare the two.

is that wall solid because they're anticipating a tower next door in that parking lot?

as long as they keep the grocery there. I lived at NXT and grocery options were limited. This Sobeys was the best option.

    Yonge-Dundas Square/Sankofa Square (Brown + Storey Architects)

i worked in an office in Times Square (1500 Broadway) and it was TERRIBLE. you can't even get a coffee without waiting in line for 30 mins. you need to walk with your elbows out to protect you as everyone bumps into you. Whenever i flew in (weekly), a cab wouldn't take me to the office, it...

    Mississauga Mississauga Soccer Stadium | ?m | ?s | City of Mississauga

maybe i explained it wrong. Cycling is better in Mississauga than what it used to be. It''s nowhere near better than Toronto. it's absolutely terrible but it's better in recent years than when i was living there.

they should have stuck all the parking down under. Hamilton has too many parking pads.

i imagine we'll see the redevelopment of King St ramp up now that the LRT is a go. Developers may still be hesitant that the rug will get pulled out from under them on it but shovels will be in the ground soon.

    Mississauga Mississauga Soccer Stadium | ?m | ?s | City of Mississauga

nobody does. i grew up there and thought it was normal until i moved to Toronto. after living there for a bit, i realized i never wanted to go back, it's just terrible. it's not walkable. i can't for the life of me understand why every road is 6 lanes yet the traffic is still worse there than...

maybe a bit thinner so it at least looks tall. it still looks chunky due to how wide this thing is. I like it though.

i actually like the uptown. it's not a glass tower, it looks a little classy to me.

    Toronto CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

i think generally speaking, office towers go up way quicker than residential.

there's a couple in Hamilton (Stelco & Dofasco). Stelco no longer produces the steel at that location but it provides some finishing to it so it's still very active.

    Toronto Mirabella Condominiums | 120m | 38s | Mirabella Dev Corp | Scott Shields

well yes, but that's not hard to achieve. 103&105 The Queensway, 15 Windermere, and the Lake Shore buildings directly east of them are all terribly designed. they look better than the others, but they still look terrible.
