The plan is to extend Sheppard west so trains can go to n from the Wilson yard, and extend it east to McCown n Sheppard. EELRT would link up with McCown n Sheppard
If they're gonna renovate the outside, and they should, they need to replace the windows with new ones and add more windows to the structure. More led lights & screens.
Looks cool, looks like the seats will be closer to the action. You can also notice the seats angled towards the infield now.
Personally I love the Skydome/Rogers centre, next Reno I want some more windows on the outside
So we are now building or have built heavy rail TTC transit in Richmond Hill, Vaughan, districts outside of the city of Toronto, and still have neglected Scarborough, a borough of the city for the last 20+ yrs
I've never ever seen that, not to say that it doesn't happen, or that you are wrong, but I work on Eglinton, and I've never seen the left being made illegally
So when they make this northern extension to Don Mills, is it going to be elevated ??
How many stops are there in-between?
Really don't see why this wasn't in the first scope of design
Why wouldn't you want to do both.
Sheppard would provide a northern crosstown line, crossing Scarborough North York and getting into the west.
The Eglinton lrt would be more like a local route as you suggest. Both are needed for a connected network
