    Toronto The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

Last we’ll see of the hotel elevators.

    Toronto Lofthouse on Logan | 24.38m | 6s | Grid | COMN Architects

Overall I like this. The only downside is the way the ground floor at the Logan/Gerrard corner is treated like a rear entrance.

    Toronto Concord Canada House | 231.97m | 74s | Concord Adex | Arcadis

Concord is usually pretty quick once they get to the tower floorplates. I think it seems quicker for Canada House because it took awhile to complete the podium which is fairly large. Now, a floor per week is within reason.

    Pickering FGF Manufacturing Campus | ?m | 1s | Caplink | Baldassarra Architects Inc

Large new manufacturing facility in Seaton at Whites Rd and Hwy 407 known as FGF Food Manufacturing Campus. Five one-storey buildings with over 1 million sf of GFA. The site is currently farmland but is intended to be for employment uses. There is one other industrial development in the area...

    Toronto 15-17 Elm | 99m | 30s | Fora | PARTISANS

I like this. Even better that Barberian's will remain.

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

Here's the design through that section: https://www.metrolinx.com/en/projectsandprograms/transitexpansionprojects/Finch_West_201601_Open_House_Map_4_of_5_EN.pdf This multi-use trail appears to be bi-directional as the sidewalk on the north side will be removed to accommodate the WB to SB onramp...

    Toronto The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

Sorry, I wasn't clear. The height increase is TBD since there were outstanding comments and Council has not made a decision yet. The "public" info are the response to comments on the AIC that were recently posted.

    Toronto The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

Thanks to @madknife 's tip, the status of the height increase is public. There were comments from various city departments on the proposal, in particular ECS (engineering), that needed to be addressed before they could sign off on the proposal. The comments appeared relatively minor so I expect...

    Toronto 160 Front West | 239.87m | 46s | Cadillac Fairview | AS + GG

^ That's a great angle to compare the height of 160 Front W vs. RBC and The Ritz.

    Toronto Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

Only the north. The south bridge over the shipping channel will remain.

    Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Who writes (and reviews) this? Beside “Days” it says to look at “What to expect”, yet no mention of any days there. How many people know that Millwood is known as the Leaside Bridge? Heck, the map says “Millwood Overpass Bridge”. Just say Millwood Road, which is actually signed on the DVP. And...

    Toronto Pearson International Airport

Great, looking forward to my trip to San Francisco in September on Air Canada. Especially with our toddler and all of the gear that goes with them. Just yesterday they changed our seats (even though we paid for three in a row) as they changed the plane. Still three in a row, but they moved my...

Bird Friendly Buildings in Toronto - I see dead birds everywhere

Not a building, but I came across this mirror along the Leslie Spit. Nice to see bird-friendly designs being implemented in more situations.

    East Don Trail Project

Though I agree with the sentiment, that bridge is likely in the section that is not currently open so they are trespassing.

Canada Qualifies for 2022 World Cup.

Funny enough, Chicago, 5th biggest city in NA, is not hosting any games. They weren't even in the final running!

    No argument there!

Canada Qualifies for 2022 World Cup.

The average temperature in Qatar in June/July is 36C. In December it's 21C. If it's played in June/July, players are going to suffer heat exhaustion and ultimately affect the games.

Still have a bit to go before it gets to the "concrete strip" (mechanical) levels on 2 Bloor West. The One is probably about the 11th level of 2BW.

Broadview Extension Environmental Assessment (City of Toronto)

This ramp is the least hairiest there is. The lane continues as the third NB lane so there is no merging required. Coming from the Don Roadway/Lake Shore is a bit more sketch with the lane ending quickly and the ramp from the Gardiner being elevated and on a curve.

    @Fresco remodels the Toronto waterfront

The portion east of Jarvis will be shifted northwards adjacent to the rail corridor.
