    Finch West Line 6 LRT

I'm less surprised that Eglinton hasn't opened yet, but I am surprised this one hasn't. It really has looked close to opening for a while.

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

I always like the view from the middle of the street. Took these today.

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

A few more pics showing some of the new curbs. Hard to tell which ones are new versus the other day but I got some slightly different views this time.

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

They’ve been pouring a lot of these curbs between the LRT row and the street. From the looks of it, a car wouldn’t be able to just drive onto the ROW outside of intersections, correct?

    Toronto Woodbine GO Station | 14.01m | 2s | Metrolinx | GHD

Metrolinx is sticking with their "T" I see. Although I swear this T looks different than before.

    Mississauga 1100 Burnhamthorpe Road West | ?m | ?s | SmartCentres

I can't find the thread either but here's a link: https://www.centralparkwaywest.com/ A distribution centre, not a factory lol

    Mississauga SmartCentres Meadowvale Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | SmartCentres

The video has a representative from SmartCentres saying that there would be no overall loss of retail or employment square footage, from what I recall.

    Mississauga SmartCentres Meadowvale Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | SmartCentres

I think it makes a lot of sense to add more uses while keeping the existing retail and/or office components, based on the site.

Brand new factory? Do you mean the distribution centre on the other side of Central Pkwy?

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

The way that Metrolinx prioritized its own trains over VIA, yeah I'd be concerned too. Last time I got back from Montreal the train just crawled behind GO trains. Edit to Add: The ironic thing is that I had a GO bus connection to catch, so it was nerve-wracking wondering if I would miss my GO...

    Roads: Traffic Signals

I feel like any time they extend the yellow or red phase this happens.

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Love the car in the bike lane in the pic lol. I guess that is why the question is being asked? But it's a good question.

    Mississauga Port Credit Marina Redevelopment | 77m | 22s | CLC

I know. But don't give them any ideas! lol

Could we not name yet another thing after her? I am not as disparaging of Hazel as some others on here, but the sheer amount of things named after her ALREADY is absolutely bonkers. There's the Hazel McCallion Central Library, which is a stone's throw away from the Hazel McCallion Campus of...

    Mississauga Mississauga Hospital Redevelopment | ?m | 24s | Trillium Health Partners | Stantec

Not to steal drum118’s thunder but I figured I’d explore and see what he was saying and it’s actually quite interesting:

    miWay Transit

The 68 is not exactly a highly used route. My parents live just off Bancroft, and whenever I drive by and see a 68 bus, it's normally almost completely empty. It's good that the option is there, but this route is by no means a top performer. I was just looking at the 126, and I noticed it skips...

Eglinton Connects - Revitalizing Eglinton Avenue after LRT construction

I ended up on page 1 of this thread from 2021 and it's kinda sad in retrospect that we thought back in 2021 that the Eglinton LRT was nearing completion. Who would have thought in August 2024 it's still not open? :-/

    Brampton Transit/Zum

I mean, it's better than empty buses no? It's a good problem to have. I think it's easier to spend money on a system that is seeing a lot of ridership growth versus a system that has empty buses and spending more money on that. I often see Mississauga buses trundle along half empty earlier than...

    Roads: Traffic Signals

What does everyone think the most important thing to add for signals is? European style transit signals for LRTs?

    Square One Shopping Centre

I noticed that the Abercrombie store at Square One is open now. Not sure when it opened though. It feels a lot smaller than any A&F I've ever been to.
